자신의 생일을 혼자 맞이한 재홍. 재홍은 아무렇지 않은 듯 혼자 예쁜 카페에서 낮술을 한잔한다. 재홍은 아무도 연락이 오지 않아 점점 초조해지는데, 때마침 친구에게 전화가 온다. 하지만 바빠서 함께 하지 못한다며 미안하다는 말과 함께 전화를 끊는다. 술에 취한 재홍은 모르는 테이블에 가서 기분도 내보고, 지나가는 사람들에게 말을 걸어 보지만 그 누구도 재홍의 생일을 축하해주지 않는다.
