[ 줄거리 ]
밤 늦도록 호러 영화를 즐겨 보는 10대 소년 ‘찰리’는 앞집에 새로 이사 온 남자가 한밤중에 관을 옮기는 것을 목격하고 이상하게 생각한다.
그 후 의문의 연쇄 살인 사건이 일어나고 앞집을 망원경으로 염탐하던 찰리는 앞집 남자 ‘제리’가 한 여인의 목을 향해 송곳니를 드러내는 것을 발견하고 경찰에 신고한다.
하지만 출동한 경찰들은 물론 여자 친구 ‘에이미’까지도 앞집 남자가 흡혈귀라고 말하는 찰리를 미친 사람 취급한다.
엄마는 이웃이 된 제리를 집에 초대하고 찰리는 뱀파이어로 변한 그에게 공격 당하지만 연필로 제리의 손바닥을 찔러 가까스로 위기를 모면한다.
죽음의 위협을 느낀 찰리는 동급생 ‘악귀’에게 도움을 청하는 한편, 그가 즐겨 보던 심야 호러쇼 ‘후라이트 나이트’의 호스트이자 자칭 흡혈귀 사냥꾼인 ‘피터 빈센트’를 찾아가게 되는데…
