[SYNOPSIS]
3백년에 걸친 스페인의 멕시코 지배가 끝나갈 무렵인 1821년,
산타 애나 장군이 이끄는 혁명이 북쪽의 캘리포니아까지 번진다.
그곳을 지배하던 스페인 총독 돈 라파엘 몬테로는 정부의 귀국 명령에도 불구하고 ‘조로’에게 복수를 감행한다.
