아이와 부모 함께 듣고 부르는,
싱어송라이터 조길상의 『기타로 지은 동시노래집』
조길상은 음악가와 직장인 두 갈래의 삶을 병행하고 있었다. 그러던 중 사랑하는 사람을 만났고, 혼인을 했다. 축복속에 아기가 태어났다. 아이에게 좋은 음악을 많이 들려주고 싶었다. 그런데 아이가 자랄수록 오히려 마땅한 음악이 적어졌다. 아이 취향에 맞는 음악은 만듦새와 정성이 아쉬운 것들도 많았다. ‘아이와 부모 함께 듣고 따라 부를 수 있는 노래들이 많으면 좋겠다.’ 그런 생각을 할 무렵 이화주 작가의 동화 『엄마 저 좀 재워주세요』를 접하게 되었다. 아이에게 책을 읽어주면서 매료된 글에 멜로디를 입혀 노래를 만들어 불러 보았다. 아이는 좋아하는 동화가 노래로 들려지자 신기해 하며 귀를 기울였다. 이 앨범의 시작점이었다..
이 일을 계기로 조길상에게 ‘동시로 지은 노래’에 대한 생각이 점점 자라났다. ‘아이와 부모가 함께 들을 수 있는 노래. 부모가 아이에게 동화책 읽어주듯 쉽게 불러줄 수 있는 노래. 아이가 자연스럽게 따라 부를 수 있는 노래. 그러면서도 문학적 음악적 완성도가 있는 노래.’ 방향이 점점 명확해졌고, 틈틈이 아름다운 동시에 곡을 입혔다. 그런 노래를 짓고 부르고 들려주기 위해 차근차근 씨앗을 뿌리고 밭을 가꾸었다. 이제 그 노력이 열매를 맺어 세상에 나온 것이다.
홍대 앞 라이브클럽 공연으로 데뷔한지 어느덧 15년이 된 싱어송라이터 조길상. 그의 음악스타일과 개성 있는 목소리는 불필요한 힘이 빠지고 관록이 더해져 이 ‘동시노래’들과 꽤 조화롭게 어우러진다. ‘윤석중문학상’ 수상 경력의 명망 높은 아동문학가 이화주, 특별한 감각으로 위트와 감동을 작품에 함께 녹여내는 젊은 아동문학가 황서영, 이 두 작가의 동시는 음표를 타고 다니며 곱고 아름답게 반짝인다. 또한 8년 전 발매한 조길상의 정규앨범 『너의 지금은』에서 편곡자로 참여했던 유지훈이 이번엔 프로듀서를 맡고, 같은 앨범의 프로듀서였던 황현우가 음향을 맡았는데, 긴 세월동안 메이저와 인디 음악계, 뮤지컬에서까지 수많은 음악가들과 협업한 이들의 경험 또한 이 앨범에 잘 녹아 음악적 완성도를 높인다.
첫 번째 트랙 「풀밭을 걸을 땐」은 초등 국어교과서에까지 실린 이화주 작가의 동시로 노래를 지은, 이 앨범의 타이틀곡이다. 산책하는 듯한 상큼한 편곡과 조길상의 편안한 노래에, 6살 서유연 어린이의 귀여운 목소리가 더해져 듣는 내내 미소를 머금게 한다. 이어지는 「네 머릿속엔 뭐가 들었니?」와 「분노잼 만들기」는 황서영 작가의 통통 튀는 감각과 문학성이 경쾌한 리듬과 잘 어우러지는 활기찬 노래들이다. 「엄마 저 좀 재워주세요」는 앞서 언급했듯 이 앨범의 출발점이라 할 수 있는 노래로, 잠들기 전 옛날 이야기를 들려주고 자장가를 불러주던 엄마가 떠오르는 차분한 곡이다. 「어떤 때」는 ‘부모를 위로하는 동시’라 할 수 있는 황서영 작가의 따뜻한 글이, 11살이라고는 믿어지지 않는 노서연 어린이의 감성적인 목소리에 실려 뭉클한 감동마저 선사한다. 마지막 「창문을 닫으려다가」는 평범한 일상의 풍경이 선사하는 소소한 행복을 그린 글과 담담하게 풀어내는 조길상의 목소리, 그 잔잔한 느낌을 증폭시키는 프로듀서 유지훈의 피아노가 돋보이는 곡이다.
무엇보다 여러 세대를 아우를 수 있는 귀한 앨범이 발매되어 반갑다. 부모는 동심을 추억하고 아이는 동심을 펼칠 수 있는 음악, 어린이들에게 시를 굳이 설명하지 않고 불러주고 들려줄 수 있는 노래들이다. 많은 이들에게 좋은 선물이 되길 바란다.

1. Order cancellation

2. Exchange/Refund
- Exchange/refund request can be registered through email(or channel talk) within 7 days after delivery.
- The round-trip shipping rate is charged to the customer for exchange/refund due to customer’s private reasons.
- If refund is approved after request, then we will guide you in regard to the refund charge and round-trip delivery fees.
- If the product is different from our description/advertisement on the page, or you are eligible for exchange/refund due to product malfunction or wrong delivery, then the shipping rate for refund/exchange will be paid by our company.

4. Delivery Information
1) Shipping Charge
