[줄거리]
제2차 세계 대전 직후 폐허가 된 영국에서 태어난 네 사람은 미국의 로큰롤, 알앤비, 소울, 블루스, 재즈 등의 음악을 접하며 자신들만의 스타일을 더해 각자 밴드 세션 및 편곡과 프로듀싱 등의 음악 활동을 해오며 경력과 명성을 쌓아간다. 1968년 영국 블루스 락의 선구자였던 밴드 '야드버즈'가 멤버들의 탈퇴로 해체 위기에 처하자 밴드의 기타리스트였던 '지미 페이지'는 '존 폴 존스'(베이시스트), '로버트 플랜트'(보컬리스트), '존 보넘'(드러머)을 영입하여 '뉴 야드버즈'로 남은 계약 기간의 활동을 마친다. 새로운 스타일의 락 밴드를 구상하던 그들은 곧 앨범 작업에 몰두하고 1969년 미국 애틀랜틱 레코드와 계약, '레드 제플린'이라는 밴드명으로 데뷔한다. 미국에서 전국 투어를 돌며 전도유망한 신예 락 밴드로 급부상한 그들은 고향 영국으로 금의환향하고 공연장을 연일 매진시키며 세계적인 탑 밴드의 반열에 오르는데...
