CL의 새로운 청사진 [ALPHA]
CL의 첫 솔로 정규 앨범 ‘ALPHA’가 베일을 벗는다.
‘ALPHA’의 시작은 2019년 발표했던 ‘사랑의 이름으로’에서부터 시작된다. 개기일식처럼 이채린로서 삶의 길이와 CL로서 삶의 길이가 동일해지면서 겹쳐지던 그 시점, ‘사랑의 이름으로’를 통해 이채린 개인의 감정과 생각을 가감 없이 담아냈다. 그와 동시에 ‘ALPHA’를 통해 CL이라는 상징적인 아이콘에 대한 새로운 청사진을 그려낸 것이다.
CL의 등장은 유일무이한 독립적이고, 자유롭고, 당당함을 표현하던 새로운 유형의 걸그룹 리더의 탄생을 의미한다. 이후에는 혈혈단신 미국으로 건너가 한국 여성 뮤지션으로는 처음 빌보드 핫100에 이름을 올리고, 다시 자신만의 길을 걷기 위해 독립적인 아티스트로 새롭게 시작하는 길을 선택했다.
이런 일련의 과정들은 CL이라는 캐릭터의 상징성을 더욱 명확하게 했고, CL은 ‘ALPHA’를 통해 자신이 전하고자 하는 메시지를 더욱 구체적으로 담아냈다.
‘ALPHA’에는 CL이 어린 시절부터 체화해 온 힙합을 베이스로 한 다양한 변주의 음악들과 함께 주도적인 태도, 자신감, 자기 확신 등 자신의 삶의 리더인 CL의 모습들을 표현해 내고 있다.
‘ALPHA’의 타이틀곡이라 할 수 있는 ‘TIE A CHERRY’는 선공개 됐던 ‘SPICY’에 이어 강한 자신감과 함께 자기 자신에 대한 확고한 믿음을 표현한 곡이다. 노래의 첫 소절인 ‘Been around long enough to know what I like / 놓쳐버린 pretty views of me, myself and I’에서 표현하듯 CL의 자신감은 충분한 내적 고민과 성찰 끝에 자연스럽게 발현된 것임을 알 수 있다.
또 다른 신곡 ‘LET IT’은 자신이 가는 길에 대한 의문과 불안함에 힘들어하는 이들에게 CL은 “걱정하지마 흘러가면 돼 / 언제까지나 느낀대로 해 / 후회는 할일 없이 /언제나 보란듯이 난 나답게 항상 내가 느낀대로 해”라는 가사처럼 자신의 목소리에 귀를 기울이고 그대로 행동하라고 용기를 북돋워 준다.
CL의 이런 태도는 사랑, 친구, 안티 등 소재는 다르지만 앨범에 수록된 모든 곡을 통해 일관되게 이어지고 있다.
‘ALPHA’ 앨범의 전곡에 직접 작사, 작곡에 참여하며 직접 진두지휘한 CL은 피처링 없이 온전히 자신만의 목소리로 채워냈지만 다양한 색깔을 지닌 이들과의 작업을 통해 더욱 풍성하게 만들어냈다.

1. Order cancellation
- Cancellation cannot be made after 12:00p.m. on the next day of the order date, though the shipment hasn’t begun.

2. Exchange/Refund
- Exchange/refund request can be registered through email(or channel talk) within 7 days after delivery.
- The round-trip shipping rate is charged to the customer for exchange/refund due to customer’s private reasons.
- If refund is approved after request, then we will guide you in regard to the refund charge and round-trip delivery fees.
- If the product is different from our description/advertisement on the page, or you are eligible for exchange/refund due to product malfunction or wrong delivery, then the shipping rate for refund/exchange will be paid by our company.

3. Cases when refund is not possible

- When no description is offered for reasons for refund
- When seal/tag of the product has been removed
- When the product is used or laundered at least once

- When the refund date has passed
- When the product or its packaging is damaged
4. Delivery Information
1) Shipping Charge
- The international shipping price differs according to the weight and rate set by the shipping company (box weight included).
2) Delivery Date
- Generally, delivery is completed within a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 10 business days after payment is completed.
- The delivery date may change depending on the country, product inventory, customs, and other factors.

3) Precautions (The delivery date may be inevitably delayed due to the circumstances below. We ask for your kind understanding.)
