MBC 드라마 <우리들의 천국> OST LP 발매!
《우리들의 천국》은 1990년부터 1994년까지 방영된 문화방송 주간단막극으로, 대학교 캠퍼스를 배경으로 하여 대학생들의 낭만과 꿈과 사랑을 그린 드라마로 당시 10대와 20대에게 많은 사랑을 받았던 드라마다.
1990년부터 1992년까지 방영했던 시즌 1은 홍학표가 주연을 맡았고 서강대에서 촬영했다. 그리고 홍학표가 스케줄 관계로 하차한 뒤 1992년부터 1994년까지 방영한 시즌 2는 신인 탤런트 김찬우와 장동건을 과감하게 주연으로 발탁한 뒤 충북대와 청주대에서 촬영했다.
홍학표가 주연을 맡았던 시즌1 초기에는 어머니(선우용녀), 아버지(박인환), 대학생 큰형 박진수(홍학표), 쌍둥이 고교생 형제 박선수와 박미수(이민우, 최상진으로 구성된 다섯 가족의 삶을 다룬 홈드라마의 성격이 강했다.
초기에 홍학표의 파트너로 나온 사람이 최진실. 결국 시간이 흐를수록 대학생들의 연애 드라마로 완전히 변화한다. 이 즈음에 등장한 배우들이 박철, 정명환, 음정희, 염정아, 김명수, 유호정 등. 한석규도 시즌1 후반기에 고정배역을 맡아 출연했다. 다만 최진실은 극중에서 불치병에 걸려 죽음을 맞이하게 되어 주인공들은 사랑을 이루지 못하게 된다.
홍학표가 빠지고 시즌2가 시작되면서, 본격적인 청춘연애물이 되면서 젊은 배우들의 등용문 역할을 하게 된다. '사랑이 뭐길래'에서의 막내 아들 역할을 비롯 이전작들을 통해 청순스타로 각광받던 김찬우가 주인공이었고, 어린 시절부터 그의 친구로 재수까지 하여 같은 대학에 입학한 절친으로 장동건이 나왔다. 장동건의 파트너로 이승연이 나왔고, 당대 최고의 아이돌 가수였던 하수빈도 단역으로 나왔다. 이 드라마가 마지막으로 배출한 스타가 최진영의 파트너로 출연한 전도연이다.
OST 수록곡중에서는 이신의 ’나의 너에게’와 장동건이 부른 ‘너에게로 가는길’이 많은 사랑을 받았다.
